NYU ADA Coordinator research
Our research with the New York University (NYU) School of Global Public Health aims to learn more about the barriers ADA Coordinators face in their duties. We are surveying ADA Coordinators throughout the region about:
-
Policies
-
Procedures
-
Supervision and support available to them
-
Individual experience
-
Education level
-
Mentoring and network opportunities
-
Job satisfaction
We will use the data to make recommendations to help ADA Coordinators be more effective.
University of Guam healthcare barriers research
Our research with the University of Guam is to identify and remove barriers in the implementation of the ADA for healthcare staff. This research includes surveys of healthcare workers in our region. The study also includes focus groups of healthcare workers and people with disabilities.
We will use the data to help healthcare providers understand and follow the ADA.
